Salvia Plant - Perennials

Perennial Salvia plants are a great choice for areas of the garden that are hot and dry. Do not let this fool you though I have personally had success planting them with perennials that do get watered daily. That being said they are a great choice for a plant right on the border or immediately behind  a ground cover such as Dianthus or Armeria. You will Find the Perennial Salvia plants in blue, purple and white ranging in height from 15 to 30 height and spacing will vary from 12 to 18 inches. All of these Salvia plants will re-bloom if cut back after blooms have gone by or chosen for a cut flower for the house. All of these varieties of Perennial Salvia are grown in full to part sun and will bloom from June to September depending on the variety.
