Neon star Dianthus has florescent pink flowers cover the evergreen, glaucous blue-grey foliage. Neon Star's growth habit is compact and mounding to a height of about 7 inches; tall and wide. Even more wonderful, the flowers of a Neon Star exude the spicy scent of cloves. Though budding is most awesome in early summer, this variety of Dianthus will rebloom in the fall, especially if you prune it back.
