Nepeta Six Hills has a Gray-green, aromatic foliage with light lavender like blue flowers that bloom through out the summer. To induce the Nepeta Six Hills to re-bloom remember to cut it back after the flowers have gone buy. Although the stems are 2-3 feet long, the plant's arching habit brings the height down to 18 to 24 inches if it is not staked. Though 'Six Hills Giant' is twice as large as the species, it is still used for the same landscape purposes and is best propagated by division. Although we have had very good luck in taking cuttings from the plant's new growth.
When the Nepeta's stems are broken, they release an aroma into the air that tends to attract cats, thus its common name, Cat Mint. This is also a goes well with
